Four Season's Hotel Gala

A few weeks ago, we created these beautiful centerpieces and stage florals for City University of Seattle's Global Innovations Gala at the Four Season's Hotel in Seattle.

The simple but elegant design has three different shades of red roses in a glass bubble bowl.


The dramatic stage floral expands on the theme with the three shades of red roses, white hydrangea, red willow and seeded eucalyptus.

Like all non-profit organizations, City University of Seattle benefited from our 20% discount for not for profit groups. If you are planning a fundraising event, ask how we can help.

Poinsettia Plants

We have a wonderful assortment of poinsettia plants in a variety of sizes and colors. Choose from red, burgundy, pink, white and Picasso - a variegated pink/red/white variety. Sizes range from 6" pots to 10" pots.

Poinsettias are available in wicker baskets (standard), ceramic pots (order deluxe) and silver pots (order premium). Individual colors sell quickly. Please specify a first and second color choice when ordering.

Send Flowers Anywhere in the World

Flowers convey a special sentiment that can be communicated few other ways. If you need to send flowers to someone out of town, we can help. As a member of Teleflora, the world's largest floral wire service, we have member florists anywhere you want to send flowers. Tell us the occasion and your budget and we will work with a local florist to have flowers delivered on your behalf. Every detail will be handled, so you don't have to think about a thing. For orders out of the US, you won't need to worry about currency conversion, translation or local customs.

Order before 11:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day. Please allow an additional 24 hours for deliveries immediately prior to and immediately following any public holiday, including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

We always recommend ordering at least 24 hours in advance for deliveries outside of North America. Please call the store directly for international orders so we can take care of every detail.

We'd be happy to take care of your out of town order and we'll treat it just as if it were one of our own.

Walk-In Store Specials

We are starting a new program this week of offering specials to our Walk-In customers. We will make special purchases of flowers so that we can offer great deals on flowers by the stem and wrapped flowers. These specials are only available in the store.

We will always have some roses on special. This week we have selected roses for $2.50 per stem or $18 per dozen, including tax. We have a large variety of colors including red, pink, yellow, green and more.

We have also made a special purchase of sunflowers for $2.50 per stem or 5 for $10 including tax.

A Heartfelt Tribute

Our Heartfelt Tribute wreath was custom designed for a customer who wanted a purple memorial wreath for a coworker who had passed. We liked the results so much that we made it a part of our assortment. This beautiful wreath measures over 24" tall. By using large flowers, we were able to keep the price down to just $150, including the easel stand. Deluxe and premium versions are available at $175 and $200.

What makes our phaelenopsis orchids special? It is the way we dress them. All of our orchids are put into premium pots, finished with moss and branches and then accented with shells or stones. We carefully select our orchids for bloom count and prefer the waterfall shape for how they show off the orchid's delicate blooms.

Our orchids begin at $80 for a single orchid, nicely dressed in a premium container or $100 as shown above. We can also combine two orchids with green plants for $150.

For the New Mom

We love florals that are clean and uncomplicated. Instead of using kitchy containers, we communicate the sentiment of welcoming a new baby into the world with coordinating color and elegant design. Here are two examples of florals we can create for the new mom in your life.

Baby Boy Floral

The Lavender & Vine Dozen Rose Floral

Not content with a traditional dozen long-stemmed rose floral, we approach them a little differently. Rather than all greens or baby's breath, we mix in seasonal flowers and greens to finish the arrangement. Our vases are premium vases that you will want to reuse over and over again.

We have a variety of colors of roses on hand and if we don't have the color you want, we can usually get it for you same day.

Welcome to Lavender & Vine Florists, a Seattle florist offering daily delivery of fine florals to Seattle, Bellevue and Mercer Island. We are excited about having this tool to share photos of our work and design ideas with you.

Lavender & Vine is a work of the creative team behind Fiori Floral Design, award winning florists long considered to be one of the best in Seattle. We felt there was a need for a new kind of florist in Seattle that combines exquisite design work with more moderate price points.

How is Lavender & Vine different from Fiori Floral Design? Our work tends to be more gardeny than than the pavé style of Fiori. Our prices are a bit more moderate than our sister store, beginning at $40 for floral arrangements. Instead of mostly phaelenopsis orchids, we carry a wider variety of plants and will more often mix them in small vignettes. Our style is a bit more traditional without looking too cookie cutter. We tend to favor arrangements with fewer varieties of flowers for a more garden feeling.

But we also share many things. Our flowers are processed in the same careful way that ensures longer lasting florals. We tend to favor monochromatic color palettes. Our gift cards are hand-written for a more personal touch. Florals and plants are gift wrapped in a way that lets the recipient know that they are receiving something special. We hold strong and true to our "No Baby's Breath - Ever" policy.

So why two different shops? For over 15 years the look of Fiori Floral Design has been jealously guarded, never sending out anything we didn't feel met the very high standards that we set for ourselves. Customers have come to know that there is a certain look that they could always count on and we would never deviate from it. However, there were many times when customers wanted something different such as long-stemmed roses or a hydrangea plant that the recipient could later plant in their yard. Lavender & Vine gives us the opportunity to serve those customers while maintaining the integrity of design that you have come to expect from Fiori.

So we welcome you to our new label. We are excited about the possibilities that lay ahead and look forward to the opportunity to serve you!
